Kean Miller is seeking a Lateral/Experienced Associate in our Baton Rouge office to join our Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Practice Group.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified candidates will possess minimum three (3) years general litigation experience. 
  • Litigation experience should include taking depositions, writing motions, and responding to discovery. 
  • Our associates work hand in hand with partners on all phases of litigation, from rapid response investigations, case reporting, discovery and depositions, through trial preparation.
  • Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills. 
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with Kean Miller’s clients and to further develop client and referral relationships. 
  • Candidates should be able to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end, regularly handle court appearances and depositions, take the lead with client communication, and provide meaningful updates.
  • The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment and the ability to work as part of a team. 
  • This position is based in our Baton Rouge office and all candidates must be in good standing with the LA State Bar.
